Winter Coat Drive

After a two very successful collection drives this year, a shoe drive in March and a tent and sleeping bag drive in August, Maine Sport Outfitters is once again teaming up with the Knox County Homeless Coalition to help those in need. Throughout the month of October, Maine Sport will be collecting gently used or new winter coats to donate to this Rockport-based organization, the only homeless organization serving Knox, Waldo and northern Lincoln counties. Men’s, women’s and children’s coats in clean and usable condition will be accepted, waterproof and insulated coats preferred.

Maine Sport Outfitters’ Rockport and Camden locations will be collecting gently used winter coats during the entire month of October. As an incentive and thank you, those who donate a winter coat in good or new condition will receive a special $10 coupon, good towards a purchase of $100 or more of any in-stock merchandise at either store location.
