Margaree Fly Fishing Trip
Nova Scotia, Canada | TBD
Trip Description:
Join Maine Sport Outfitters this fall as we pursue the storied and much sought after Atlantic Salmon on the Margaree River in Cape Breton, Canada. One of Nova Scotia’s largest and most valuable watersheds - the Margaree, a Canadian Heritage River, holds runs of Atlantic Salmon, Sea run trout, Gaspereau and Striped Bass. Flanked by beautiful natural surroundings including the Cape Breton highlands, wonderful ocean beaches, and a wide array of local culture, the Margaree is a truly special destination that should be on the bucket list of any angler.
The Margaree is an anomaly of Canadian rivers because the water is entirely public - anyone can fish for these majestic fish at a fraction of the cost at other Canadian rivers. Pools are well marked on maps and there are miles and miles of river to explore.
